Post subject:  How to put your works in the Bardic Circle

Several people have asked about how to "post" their works to the Bardic Circle. Since the Bardic Circle is not a forum, there is no automated way to post to it. This means that I must create the pages for bardic works and upload them, with links to images and sound files as appropriate. See the existing offerings ("Spellbreaker" and "Da Da Dance") to see how that will work.

This means that if you have something you would like included in the Bardic Circle, you need to contact me and let me know what you have and how you would like it displayed. I will create the page with any necessary links and post it for you. For text items (poetry, stories) you may send me the work either in a Second Life notecard or through e-mail, which you can do through the forum if you don't know my e-mail address. You may also send it to me in a private message in the forum.

I am able to host images, sound files, and video files here. For these items, after we decide the best format for the item, you will need to e-mail it to me so that I can upload it to the server. If you have an existing gallery on a hosting site such as Photobucket and would like a link to it, that is also possible.

Materials that were published in The Port Luskan Beat will eventually be "reprinted" in Ye Olde Book Shoppe, but that will take time. If you are especially eager to see your creative work displayed, I have no problem putting it in the Bardic Circle in the meantime if you request it.

The Bardic Circle is intended as an IC showcase, for our characters' creations and performances - although it is semi-OOC in that OOC information may be included about the works (see Da Da Dance as an example). If you have something creative which is totally OOC (created by you but unrelated to your characters or Port Luskan), there are still options for including it in the forums. For example, anyone may introduce a thread in the OOC forum for the posting of creative works.
